nice mic April 19, 2010 tiger (Elk Grove, CA USA) Sound better than my other Radio Shack mic which costed me the same price. This mic sounds even better (less distortion) when I use the XLR cable instead of the one that came with it (XLR on one end and 1/4in on the other end).
Good for the price February 28, 2010 A. Pena What can I say? You get what you pay for. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. This is a pretty solid microphone, somewhere near the top of the inexpensive line of mics. I'm sure if you're looking for some serious quality and/or recording, you'll probably want to look elsewhere. I use this one for karaoke and singing while I play guitar, and it's pretty solid.
Not a great mic,but worth the price January 19, 2010 Connor Smith Its a cheap mic and you get what you pay for. It a crappy vocal mic, but if ur using it in a studio like i was it can be somewhat useful. Works good for micing a drum and with some decent EQ, its not terrible. In terms of using it as a vocal mic, I had some problems. First its very sensitive to any type of sudden movements. If you don't hold it tightly, you will get loud booms any time u move. Overalll, you can make up for the sub par quality by using it in combination with their high quality mics.
Mic Review September 2, 2009 Steve Great mic for the money. This will do nicely until i have the money to buy a more profesional studio mic.
I wouldn't even give this microphone a star June 4, 2009 Denise Thorbjornsen (RI) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is by far the worst microphone I've heard it has a buzzing noise and horrible pick up it makes an out of tune instrument sound almost in tune.
Don't buy it. I'm returning it.
