It was not a karaoke cd. It was an instrumental cd. No words displayed on the screen. What karaoke party do you see people reading from alittle cd cover, and not a tv screen? I was very disappointed........

For those that are saying this is not a karaoke disc, don't be fooled. IT IS a karaoke disc. Karaoke simply means music minus singer, which is what the instrumental versions are. Words do not have to show on a tv to make it a karaoke disc. These are all original recordings & are great. BTW here is always computer software in which you can create your own cdg with these tracks.

I had one disappointed daughter when we went to play this cd on her karaoke machine! Even though it says Karaoke, and it shows a microphone on the cover it doesn't display the words. Basically, it is a singalong CD. If it displayed the words, I'd give it 5 stars, but with the false advertising I give it one.

This is not CD+G. Which means, don't expect the sing-a-long lyrics to appear on your karaoke machine. If you have eagle eyes you can read the lyrics from inside the jacket cover.

What a bummer! Without the onscreen graphic prompts, the CD is useless for karaoke. If you want accompaniment tracks, go for it. Otherwise, THIS IS A RIPOFF!
